The HXC-4 Long Retractable Sootblower (Refer to Figure 1) is mainly used for blowing the accumulative dusts and deposits located on the heated surfaces of boilers, especially for the super-heaters, re-heaters and economizers by steam or compressed air. It is also used for cleaning the accumulative dusts located on the top of boilers and the tube-like air pre-heaters. The purpose of sootblowing is to improve the boilers heat efficiency and guarantee a long and safe operation with full load.
